This year the Jumpers and Jazz in July Festival marks a significant milestone, celebrating its 20th anniversary.

Known for its vibrant fusion of visual art, music, and the textile arts, the festival is ready to envelop Warwick in a warm embrace this winter. an added bonus is the announcement of Elixir featuring Katie Noonan as the headline act for the much-cherished celebration.

One of the biggest and most popular aspects of Jumpers and Jazz is the yarnbombing tree exhibition.

Jumpers and Jazz in July began in 2004 inspired by the Warwick Art Gallery’s idea to personalize the cold winter streets with textile art wrapped around our bare winter trees.

The quirky “tree jumper” project captured the imagination of the local community and the event grew into the ten day arts festival that we now enjoy.

Traditional textile crafts such as crochet, felting, dollmaking and weaving have prospered thanks to being applied in a popular contemporary context.

The result? A visually spectacular feast in numerous Warwick locations worthy of winning this prestigious new national award.

Where? In the key streets of Warwick
